Cookies we use

ShareCaster is a cloud service: creating an episode requires an account, so a small number of cookies are necessary for the site to function at all.

• Strictly necessary. These keep you signed in across pages, keep your session secure, and remember essential preferences. The site cannot work without them, so they are not optional.
• Analytics. Where enabled, these help us understand which pages are visited and how the site performs, so we can improve it. They are not used to identify you personally.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell the information they collect.

Listening to a published episode

Public episode pages can be opened without an account. Visiting one does not require you to sign in, and no account cookie is set unless you choose to.

Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has stored, delete them, and block them — usually under Settings, in a Privacy or Security section. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which clears them when you close it.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent you from creating or editing episodes, because there is no other way for us to keep you signed in. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the site works.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
